อรรถประโยชน์ Corecasys Switch นั้น จะได้ประโยชน์สูงสุดหากนำมาทำเป็น แกนกลางของ Switch ทั้งหมด นั่นหมายความว่า หากภายใน ระบบคุณมี Switch ตัวเล็กหลายตัว ให้คุณนำ Switch ต่างๆ นั้นเชื่อมต่อเข้ากับ Corecasys Switch โดย Corecasys Switch จะสามารถ Block Loop ที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่าง Switch ต่างๆ ได้ และหากจะเชื่อมต่อ Server เข้ากับ Corecasys G2240 ก็จะสามารถจัดสรร Bandwidth ให้เหมาะสมไปยัง ส่วนต่างๆได้อีกด้วย Corecasys Switch G2240 มี 24 port 10/100/1000 และ 4 port Fiber โดดเด่นตรงที่เป็น 1000 Mbps โดยแท้ อีกทั้งยังสามารถทำ QOS บน Layer 4 ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพอีกด้วย มี Port Tunk ที่จะรองรับ Load Balance Traffic และมีระบบป้องกัน Strom Control หรือ Flooding Packet ภายในระบบเครือข่ายอีกด้วย
